Refund & Return Policy

At OunceOfGoldAndSilver.com, we strive to provide accurate product descriptions, secure packaging, and dependable service. Because we sell precious metals and bullion products whose prices fluctuate daily, our return policy differs from typical retail stores.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1) All Sales Are Final on Bullion Products

Due to market volatility in gold and silver prices:

  • All bullion sales are final.

  • We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations on bullion products once an order is confirmed.

  • Market gains or losses after purchase are the responsibility of the buyer.

Bullion products include, but are not limited to:

  • Gold coins and bars

  • Silver coins and bars

  • Rounds

  • Constitutional silver

  • Investment-grade precious metals

Precious metals prices can change rapidly. For this reason, orders are locked in at the price confirmed at checkout.

2) Order Cancellations

Once an order is placed and payment is submitted, it is considered a binding agreement.

If we allow a cancellation at our discretion:

  • The order may be subject to a market loss fee.

  • Any difference in market price between the original locked-in price and the current market price will be the responsibility of the customer.

  • Payment processing fees may be non-refundable.

We reserve the right to cancel any order due to pricing errors, payment verification issues, or suspected fraud.

3) Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items

If your package arrives:

  • Damaged

  • Missing items

  • Incorrect product

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the package (including shipping label)

  • Photos of the contents

  • A description of the issue

Failure to notify us within 48 hours may limit our ability to file insurance or carrier claims.

4) Shipping Insurance & Risk of Loss

  • Once an order is marked delivered by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer.

  • We recommend selecting insured shipping options where available.

  • Signature confirmation may be required for higher-value orders.

If a package is lost in transit, we will work with the carrier to investigate the claim.

5) Non-Bullion Items

For non-bullion items (such as certain accessories or merchandise), returns may be accepted within 14 days of delivery if:

  • The item is unused

  • The item is in original packaging

  • The item is not damaged

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the error was ours.

6) Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

By placing an order, you agree:

  • Not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for market loss or price movement.

  • That bullion transactions are final due to commodity volatility.

Fraudulent chargebacks may be pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7) Order Refusal

We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders at our discretion, including in cases of:

  • Suspected fraud

  • Pricing errors

  • Payment verification failure

  • Policy abuse
